On September 16, 2025, Dr. Amir Ali Salemi, CEO of JTA International Investment Holding, met with H.E. Raimonds Vējonis, Former President of the Republic of Latvia and current President of the Latvian Basketball Association, to discuss potential avenues for cooperation between JTA and Latvia across multiple sectors, including sports, technology, and sustainable investments.
