From September 14th to 17th, 2025, Dr. Amir Ali Salemi, CEO of JTA International Investment Holding, led a visit to the Republic of Latvia to explore new business and investment opportunities. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and identify areas for collaboration in key sectors such as technology, renewable energy, infrastructure, logistics, and sports development.

During the trip, Dr. Amir Ali Salemi held a series of high-level meetings with senior government officials and institutional representatives in Riga. Dr. Amir met with H.E. Mr. Viktors Valainis, Minister of Economics of Latvia, H.E. Mr. Arvils Aseradens, Minister of Finance of Latvia, and H.E. Mr. Atis Svinka, Minister of Transport of Latvia, to discuss potential partnerships and investment projects that align with Latvia’s national development priorities and JTA’s global investment strategy.

Dr. Amir also held severlal productive meetings and discussions with several business leaders in Riga aimed at identifying areas of collaboration and investment in infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Sports, Tourism and transport development goals sectors of Latvia

Dr. Amir also met with H.E. Raimonds Vējonis, Former President of Latvia and President of the Latvian Basketball Association, to explore collaboration opportunities in the sports sector, including athlete development programs, infrastructure enhancement, and international cooperation in sports management.

The visit reinforced JTA’s commitment to expanding its global presence in Europe & Baltic region and advancing partnerships that promote innovation, sustainability, and economic growth.
