From February 17th to 21st, 2025, Dr. Amir Ali Salemi, CEO of JTA International Investment Holding & JTA Team, led a visit to Angola to explore new business opportunities. The visit aligns with JTA's ongoing efforts to expand its global footprint and identify potential investments in key sectors.
Dr. Amir Ali Salemi visited Luanda and had productive meetings with government officials, ministers, football federation and discussions with several business leaders aimed at identifying areas of collaboration and investment across energy, sports, tourism, logistics and real estate in Angola.
During the visit, JTA formalized its presence in Angola, marking a strategic step forward in strengthening bilateral business relations. The meetings and engagements held throughout the trip were well-received, generating substantial local interest and coverage in national media. Dr. Amir Ali Salemi’s visit was acknowledged by Angolan officials and private sector leaders as a positive signal of JTA’s long-term commitment to contributing to the country’s economic development.
Angola, a prominent economy in Southern Africa, is known for its rich natural resources and growing industrial sectors. The country is a leading global producer of oil and diamonds, which play a key role in its economy. Additionally, Angola has a developing agricultural sector, with a focus on the cultivation of crops like coffee, cotton, and sugar. The tourism industry is also expanding, driven by Angola’s scenic landscapes, wildlife, and cultural heritage. Emerging sectors such as renewable energy and infrastructure development are gaining momentum, positioning Angola as a center for sustainable growth and economic diversification.
