On October 30th 2024, Dr. Amir Ali Salemi, CEO of JTA International Holding met with President of Zanzibar, the Hon. Hussein Mwinyi in Doha, Qatar. The President of Zanzibar provided details about the investment landscape in Zanzibar.

During the meeting, discussions were held with H.E. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi focusing on current investment projects in Zanzibar and exploring new investment opportunities. Dr. Amir Ali Salemi presented an update on the progress made so far on JTA’s investment in building a new port facility in Zanzibar. President Mwinyi expressed his full support for these endeavors.

President Mwinyi stated that Zanzibar has a lot of potential for growth in the tourism sector and emphasized that Zanzibar is committed to creating a business-friendly environment for foreign investors, and is eager to welcome JTA's investment in the country.

Dr. Amir Ali Salemi expressed his interest in the potential for investments in tourism, mining and agriculture sectors in the country and committed to progress this further.

Overall, the meeting between The Hon. Hussein Mwinyi and Dr. Amir Ali Salemi was a positive step towards paving the path for JTA’s entry into Zanzibar
