The Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Energy Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Energy sector were presented at the Al-Attiyah Foundation's annual celebration on October 22nd, 2024. Dr. Amir Ali Salemi, CEO and senior management of JTA Holding were invited to this award ceremony, which was also attended by H.E. Al Attiyah, the former Minister of Energy and Industry and Deputy Prime Minister for the State of Qatar and many other Qatari dignitaries and ministers.

The award winners included the Managing Director and CEO of Santos, Founding Director of the Centre for Sustainable Energy Technologies (CSET), a Royal Society Research Professor at Imperial College London, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Editorial at Argus Media, who was recognised with the Lifetime Achievement for the Advancement of Energy Journalism accolade, and the pioneering CEO of Eni, who was recognised with the Lifetime Achievement for International Energy Policy and Diplomacy
