JTA CEO meeting with Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia

CEO of JTA Dr. Amir Ali Salemi in his meeting with his excellency Mr. H. Bambang Soesatyo, SE, MBA, Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI) and Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia on 18^th of April 2022, discussed areas of mutual interest in Indonesian market investment.

Subject of investment in mineral’s downstream, in particular Nickel, was positively welcomed by Pak Bamsoet as Indonesia has the potential to be one of world major producers of nickel ore due to ownership of large reserves. Nickel is increasingly a more important metal due to its application in EV batteries and Indonesia’s plan to produce batteries.

Dr. Salemi reiterated JTA’s interest to participate in developing mineral’s downstream sector of Indonesia, wherever the opportunity is feasible and rewarding for all parties.
